Job summary

Cookunity is seeking a Data Analyst with GA4 and GTM experience for a remote role within our education-focused marketing partner ecosystem. You will own web analytics, pixel deployment, and data layers across multiple client projects, ensuring airtight data collection and reliable reporting.

You will configure events across major platforms, troubleshoot tracking across ads, and maintain GA4 integrations from click through CRM entry, while upholding privacy standards and delivering clear data

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on tracking or web analytics experience in a marketing or agency environment.
• Intermediate experience with GTM containers, trigger and variable creation, data layer implementation, and server-side tagging.
• Practical experience planning, deploying, and troubleshooting conversion tracking across major ad platforms, with working knowledge of pixel and Conversion API (CAPI).
• Hands-on GA4 experience, including event configuration, key events, and DebugView.
• Comfort with HTML, CSS selectors, and basic JavaScript for tag troubleshooting and custom script implementation.
• Understanding of data privacy requirements (GDPR, CCPA) and consent management platforms.
• An analytical, solution-driven mindset with a growth orientation, and strong communication skills that turn technical tracking concepts into clear narratives for non-technical audiences — education marketing experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Own tag management & deployment across multi-client environment; build and maintain data layers; manage GTM container structure and triggers; implement server-side tagging when needed.
• Own conversion tracking & platform integration; configure events for reporting and optimization across Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, and others; maintain GA4 events from click to CRM entry.
• Own QA, debugging & data integrity; audit tags, fix broken events, and resolve discrepancies between ad platforms, GA4, and CRM; run tag health audits.
• Own data privacy compliance; manage cookie consent banners and consent mode; ensure tracking aligns with GDPR, CCPA, and privacy regulations.
• Support documentation & cross-team enablement; maintain tagging plans and naming conventions; translate business requirements into tracking solutions; document setups for internal use.
