Job summary

Cookunity is seeking a Data Analyst with GA4 and GTM experience for a remote role supporting an education-focused marketing agency. You will own the web analytics and pixel deployment, ensure accurate data collection from client sites, and configure events across multiple ad platforms.

You’ll troubleshoot tagging across campaigns, manage data privacy considerations, and collaborate with the Data and Analytics team to evolve tracking workflows as the agency scales with education and nonprofit

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on tracking in a marketing/agency environment.
• Experience with GTM containers, data layer, and server-side tagging.
• Practical experience planning, deploying, and troubleshooting conversion tracking across major ad platforms.
• Hands-on GA4 experience including event configuration and DebugView.
• Familiar with GDPR/CCPA and consent management practices.
• Ability to translate technical tracking concepts into clear business narratives.

Responsibilities

• Own tag management, deployment, and data layer architecture across multi-client environments.
• Configure conversion tracking for Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, and others.
• Audit and debug tags, events, and data discrepancies to ensure data integrity.
• Ensure privacy compliance across cookie banners and consent mode.
• Document tagging plans and enable cross-team understanding of tracking setups.
