Job summary

Cookunity is seeking a Data Analyst with GA4 and GTM experience to own web analytics and pixel deployment for education-focused campaigns. You will implement tracking via GTM, configure events, ensure data integrity, and support privacy compliance across client websites.

The role emphasizes cross-team collaboration, scalable tagging architectures, and reliable reporting to drive measurable outcomes for higher-education and nonprofit partners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on tracking or web analytics experience in marketing/agency environment.
• Intermediate experience with GTM containers, triggers, variables, and data layer implementation.
• Experience planning, deploying, and troubleshooting conversion tracking across major ad platforms (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn).
• Hands-on GA4 experience, including event configuration and DebugView.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS basics for tag troubleshooting and debugging.
• Understanding GDPR/CCPA and consent management in tracking.

Responsibilities

• Own tag management & deployment — build and maintain pixels, tags, and data layers in GTM across multi-client environments.
• Own conversion tracking & platform integration — connect website activity to ad platforms using pixels and CAPI; configure standard and custom events.
• Own QA, debugging & data integrity — audit tags, diagnose discrepancies, and verify events before campaigns go live.
• Own data privacy compliance — manage cookie banners and consent configurations in line with GDPR/CCPA.
• Support documentation & cross-team enablement — document tagging plans and ensure teams understand data setups.
