Bitfinex is seeking a Transaction Monitoring Investigator to safeguard the platform’s integrity by identifying and mitigating financial crime risks across fiat and cryptocurrency transactions. Join a Compliance team that analyzes monitoring alerts, investigates unusual activity, and escalates high-risk cases, aligning with evolving AML/KYC regulations in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Competenze

• Experience in the compliance field within the Industry.
• Ability to understand AML/KYC/CTF policies, laws and regulations.
• Basic knowledge of blockchain technology.
• CAMS/CBP designation is a plus.
• Experience with Blockchain Analytical/Transaction Monitoring tools.
• University degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to source and understand documentation in multiple languages.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Self-motivated with initiative.
• Strong IT skills (Chrome, Open Search, Docs, Gmail, Word, Excel).
• Understanding of organizational processes.

Mansioni

• Develop and implement transaction monitoring to mitigate AML/TF/Sanctions risks using a risk-based approach.
• Analyze alerts from fiat and crypto trades, deposits, withdrawals to mitigate risk.
• Prepare periodic reports with analysis for CCO and Product Managers.
• Collaborate with AML Investigators, Product teams and Compliance leadership.
• Enhance knowledge of virtual currencies, KYC/AML/CTF requirements.
• Understand and apply monitoring rules and risk parameters.
