Job summary

Bitfinex is seeking a Transaction Monitoring Investigator to safeguard the platform's integrity by identifying and mitigating AML/TF, sanctions, and fraud risks across fiat and crypto transactions. You will analyze alerts, assess unusual activity, and collaborate with AML Investigators, Product teams, and Compliance leadership to escalate high-risk cases.

Qualifications

• Experience in the compliance field within the industry.
• Understanding of AML/KYC/CTF policies, laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of blockchain technology and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement transaction monitoring rules to mitigate AML/TF & sanctions risks.
• Analyze alerts from fiat and crypto trades to reduce platform risk.
• Prepare periodic reports for Chief Compliance Officer and Product Managers.
