Bitfinex is seeking a Transaction Monitoring Investigator to safeguard the integrity of the platform by identifying and mitigating financial crime risks across fiat and crypto transactions. You will analyze alerts, investigate suspicious activity, and escalate high-risk cases within the Compliance team.

You will collaborate with AML Investigators, Product teams, and leadership to improve monitoring controls, contribute to regulatory reporting, and help shape our risk-based approach.

Competenze

• Experience in the compliance field within the industry.
• Understanding AML/KYC/CTF policies, laws and regulations.
• Basic knowledge of blockchain technology and CAMS/CBP designation.
• Experience with Blockchain Analysis/Transaction Monitoring tools such as Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM.

Mansioni

• Develop and implement transaction monitoring algorithms to detect AML/TF/Sanctions risks.
• Analyze alerts from fiat and crypto trades, deposits and withdrawals to mitigate risk.
• Prepare periodic reports with analysis identifying anomalies for leadership and product teams.
• Collaborate with AML Investigations and other teams to address fraud and AML risks.
• Enhance KYC/AML/CTF and Sanctions policy and process improvements.
• Understand and apply our risk-based transaction monitoring framework and data analysis requirements.
