Job summary

Whizz is seeking a Collections Specialist to join our remote team and support our growth in the transportation e-mobility space. You will monitor overdue accounts, maintain accurate delinquent records, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve disputes while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of collections experience, fluent English (C1), strong negotiation skills, and the ability to deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Collections.
• Fluent in English (C1); Spanish is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable high-speed internet and home office setup.
• Knowledge of state and federal collection laws (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track overdue accounts to secure timely payments.
• Maintain accurate records of delinquent accounts and payment arrangements.
• Provide exceptional customer service while pursuing collections.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and disputes.
• Prepare regular reports on debt collection activities and progress.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal collection laws.
