Job summary

Voxidea is seeking a Billing Specialist to join our team. This fully remote role supports U.S.-based law firms with U.S. GAAP-compliant billing, collections, and tax handling.

You will use QuickBooks Online to manage records, prepare statements, and ensure accurate financial reporting. Fluency in English and Spanish is required, with a strong eye for detail and reliable internet access. Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Accountant working with U.S.-based companies.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. tax regulations and compliance.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar software.
• GAAP accounting principles understanding.
• Experience preparing and filing U.S. tax returns.
• Excellent communication in English and Spanish.
• High attention to detail and reliability.
• Own a reliable laptop and stable internet.
• Reside permanently in Latin America.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage and file U.S. tax forms (federal and state returns, 1099s, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with U.S. tax laws and regulations.
• Use accounting software (QuickBooks Online or similar) for bookkeeping and reporting.
• Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Communicate with clients or internal stakeholders regarding financial matters.
