CommandLink is hiring a Billing & Collections Specialist to support billing, collections, and accounts receivable for a growing IT services platform. You will work with the Senior Billing Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate invoicing and timely payments.

The role requires an associate degree in Finance/Accounting or 3–5 years of related experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication. US Eastern hours are preferred, with potential for remote work.

Formación

• Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or 3–5 years of billing/collections experience.
• Strong understanding of billing and collections policies and procedures.
• Experience with telecom/IT services billing and disconnect requests preferred.
• Experience with billing systems, including NetSuite.
• Familiarity with credit reporting tools (Creditsafe, D&B) preferred.
• Experience using AI tools to improve workflow efficiency preferred.
• Proficient in Excel with data manipulation and analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
• Team-oriented with collaborative mindset and adaptability.
• Willingness to take on additional tasks and embrace change.
• Interest in a fast-paced startup environment; US Eastern hours preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Promote company values and foster positive customer relationships.
• Manage billing email inbox and respond to customer inquiries and change requests.
• Process and post paper checks, deposits, and electronic payments.
• Handle service disconnects and billing cases within the CommandLink Platform.
• Monitor overdue accounts and perform proactive collections calls as needed.
• Review overage billing and ensure correct application within cycles.
• Apply credit risk data from Creditsafe and D&B to collections strategy.
• Coordinate with outside agencies and legal teams for escalations.
• Leverage Claude to automate billing workflows and document cases.
• Track and report on billing, cases, and payments; identify trends and risks.
• Document processes for training and scalability.
