Job summary

Latino Legends is seeking a Senior Accountant fluent in QuickBooks Online (QBO) to own client books from transaction categorization to GAAP financial statements. You will manage month-end closes, reconcile complex accounts, and produce clean reports for CPAs while communicating clearly with clients.

You will drive QBO architecture improvements, payroll reconciliation, and documentation to support scalable client service delivery. Remote LATAM collaboration with US-based firms is required.

Qualifications

• Active QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification with advanced, hands-on experience.
• 3+ years of direct accounting experience for U.S.-based businesses.
• Proven track record preparing GAAP-compliant financial statements and managing month-end closes.
• Experience reconciling payroll reports from systems like Gusto, ADP, or Paychex.
• Fluent written and spoken English with ability to explain financial concepts clearly to non-financial clients.
• High attention to detail with a mindset to automate routine processes.

Responsibilities

• Categorize transactions and reconcile bank, credit card, loan, and clearing accounts monthly.
• Own month-end close for multiple clients from start to finish.
• Prepare GAAP-compliant P&Ls, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements with accruals and adjusting entries.
• Build and refine QBO structures (COA, classes, locations) for customized reporting.
• Reconcile payroll data from Gusto/ADP/Paychex to QBO.
• Prepare tax-ready books and year-end packages for CPAs with strong audit trails.
