Job summary

Political Asylum Lawyers is seeking a capable, bilingual professional to serve as the primary contact for clients, engaging them daily in English and Spanish. You will manage communications, gather information, and help move cases forward within established workflows.

You’ll work with a collaborative team to keep case development on track, flag potential delays, and support attorneys, paralegals, and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing immigration applications is preferred but not required.
• Commitment to helping immigrants through asylum.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Tech-focused and quick to learn new online systems and procedures.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Works well under pressure and meets deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main contact with clients, supporting attorneys and paralegals in engaging clients in English and Spanish.
• Return phone calls and reply to emails from clients and potential clients.
• Provide status updates and set clear expectations with clients about timelines.
• Coordinate case logistics, scheduling, reminders, and document collection.
• Proactively communicate with the team to keep cases moving forward.
• Assist in implementing company protocols and process improvements.
