Valatam is seeking an Accounting Associate to provide reliable accounting and financial support in a fully remote setup for international clients. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance and is fluent in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Spanish required, with strong communication skills.
• 3–5 years of professional accounting, finance, bookkeeping experience.
• Proficient with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and basic financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update accurate financial records and spreadsheets.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations; investigate discrepancies.
• Support AP/AR activities, invoicing, and payment follow-ups.
• Assist with payroll, budgeting, and tax-related tasks.
• Prepare financial reports for internal and client use; support audits.
