Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile test automation while also performing manual testing across products. You will integrate tests into CI/CD, investigate failures, and collaborate with developers to improve testability and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

4+ years in QA automation, hands-on manual and exploratory testing.
Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
Proficient with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real devices.
Experience using AI tools in QA and critically reviewing their output.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
Record clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
