Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to lead desktop and mobile test automation and take ownership of manual testing for our apps. You will integrate tests into CI/CD, investigate failures, and collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure high quality releases.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in QA, hands-on Playwright/WebdriverIO/Appium, and experience testing Electron or React Native apps, on real devices, with AI-assisted QA advantages.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
