Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automation and manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. You’ll build robust test automation, integrate tests into CI/CD, and work closely with developers and product teams to ensure high quality releases.

Candidates should have 4+ years in QA, hands-on automation, and experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium, Electron, or React Native apps, including testing on real devices. Remote-ready, global team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with manual/exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
