Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile testing, combining automated and manual approaches. You will build robust regression tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines, while ensuring test strategies cover critical user flows across Electron and React Native apps.

You will work with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO with Appium for mobile, applying AI-assisted QA practices to enhance reliability and speed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation plus hands-on manual testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on iOS/Android.
• Experience using AI tools in QA; testing AI-powered apps is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts for core app functionality.
• Manually validate software against defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, and performance tests.
• Record detailed feature behavior and pass/fail criteria.
• Collaborate with product to ensure testability and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain automation suites and update test data.
