Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop/mobile test automation and manual testing across the SDLC. You will work with developers and product to ensure test coverage, reliability, and deterministic results, contributing to secure and scalable digital finance solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role.
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
• Experience with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.
• Nice-to-have: SQL, Ruby on Rails, testing tools like Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy against criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails and correlate to bugs.
• Identify and elevate quality risks in product/process.
• Collaborate with product to ensure quality through SDLC and releases.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback into testing.
• Participate in refinement and estimations for planning.
• Use GitHub to maintain automation repos and run scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
