Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile test automation and to lead manual testing where needed. You will build robust test suites and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast feedback across releases.

You will collaborate with developers and product teams, perform exploratory and regression testing, and leverage AI tools to improve coverage and reliability. This remote, globally distributed team offers growth in fintech innovation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop/web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on iOS and Android devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and critically reviewing their output.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
