Tether is pioneering a global fintech platform, enabling secure, fast digital asset interactions across desktop and mobile apps. We’re seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own both automated and manual testing, contributing to robust test strategies and high-quality releases.

Join a globally distributed team and help shape the reliability of our desktop and mobile products. You’ll work in a fast-paced fintech environment, collaborating with developers and product managers to ensure testability

Qualifications

4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing experience.
Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, on real iOS and Android devices.
Experience using AI tools in QA and reviewing their output. Testing AI-powered apps is a plus.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
