Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills who also takes ownership of manual testing for our desktop and mobile applications. You will build and maintain tests that verify critical user flows across platforms.

You’ll integrate tests into CI/CD (GitHub Actions), investigate failures, and collaborate with developers and product teams on testability and acceptance criteria. Experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium, Electron or React Native apps, and

Qualifications

4+ years in QA automation with manual and exploratory testing.
Experience running tests in CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions).
Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web; WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
Experience testing Electron and React Native apps on iOS/Android.
Experience using AI tools in QA; testing AI-powered apps is a plus.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
