Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation and manual testing skills to own desktop and mobile test suites across its global platform. You will build scalable test automation, maintain regression suites, and drive test quality end-to-end.

You will integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), collaborate with developers on testability, and utilize Playwright, WebdriverIO, and Appium to cover desktop, web, and mobile apps, including Electron/React Native

Qualifications

4+ years in QA automation and hands-on testing.
Experience in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
Proficient with Playwright for desktop/web.
Experience with WebdriverIO and Appium for mobile.
Experience testing Electron or React Native apps, including on real devices.
Familiarity with AI tools in QA is a plus.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments
Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes
Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria
Perform hands‑on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features
Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
