Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automated and manual testing across desktop and mobile apps. You will build robust regression suites, integrate tests in CI/CD, and ensure testability alongside developers and product teams.

In this role, you will perform hands-on functional and exploratory testing, manage test data, and participate in on-call rotations. Strong AI tool experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and React Native apps on real devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA; evaluating AI outputs critically.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product to improve testability and acceptance criteria.
• Conduct hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
