Job summary

Tether is recruiting an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills who also takes ownership of manual testing for our desktop and mobile apps. You will work remotely with a global team to ensure high-quality releases.

Responsibilities include building and maintaining desktop and mobile test automation, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, investigating failures, fixing flaky tests, and collaborating with developers on testability and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with manual testing experience.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and React Native apps on real devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and evaluating outputs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
