Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automated and manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. Join a fast-growing fintech team delivering reliable, AI-assisted QA across platforms.

You will implement regression suites, integrate tests into CI/CD, and collaborate with developers, product, and customer teams to improve testability and quality. Remote-friendly with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software QA.
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Holistic quality mindset.
• Experience with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts for app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance tests.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fail conditions and link to bugs.
• Identify and escalate quality risks.
• Collaborate with product to ensure quality throughout SDLC.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback.
• Participate in refinement and estimation of effort.
• Use GitHub to maintain automation repos and scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
