Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join the global SAM team, managing software licensing across Latin America and international regions with a multi-vendor environment. You will interpret licensing terms, maintain entitlement records, coordinate renewals and audits, and collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and publishers to optimize software costs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM, software licensing, or ITAM with substantial responsibilities.
• Understand licensing models including node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, and cloud/SaaS.
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization, or audits.
• Ability to manage high volumes and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Advanced English and Spanish; collaboration with regional/global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across multiple publishers and licensing models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing information.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and software optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve software utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors to resolve licensing needs and escalations.
• Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment while contributing to continuous improvement of SAM processes.
