Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a Senior Program Manager to drive delivery across our cybersecurity product portfolio. You will lead cross-functional programs spanning Engineering, Product, Threat Research, and Operations to ensure on-time shipping and risk‑aware execution for millions of users worldwide.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of program management in software or product engineering.
• Experience engaging with engineering teams on technical delivery.
• Experience with multiple Agile teams at scale and Scrum of Scrums.
• Strong influencing and relationship-building across teams.
• Excellent communication and ability to present to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery across the full SDLC for cloud and appliance lines.
• Align across Engineering, Product, Threat Research, Operations and Support.
• Coordinate scaled Agile programs and align sprints across teams.
• Provide strategic updates to senior leadership.
• Lead end-to-end delivery for multiple programs, balancing long-term goals and day-to-day.
• Manage cross-team dependencies and escalate blockers.
• Engage with executive sponsors, providing visibility into status and risks.
• Evaluate scope changes and shifting priorities, communicating impact.
• Build proactive risk management across programs.
• Mentor intermediate program managers and foster collaboration.
