Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a Senior Program Manager to drive delivery across its cybersecurity product portfolio. You will lead cross-functional programs spanning Engineering, Product, Threat Research, and Operations, ensuring alignment, dependency management, and timely shipment to protect millions of users globally.

You will coordinate across multiple Agile teams, translate complexity into strategic updates for executives, and mentor junior PMs while maintaining risk- and impact-focused oversight.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of program management experience in a software or product engineering organization.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and ability to engage with engineering teams on technical delivery.
• Experience working with multiple Agile teams at scale and scaled Agile frameworks

Responsibilities

• Own product/program delivery across the full software development lifecycle for cloud and appliance-based product lines.
• Coordinate across Engineering, Product, Threat Research, Operations, and Customer Support on multi-team programs.
• Manage dependencies, align sprints, and drive program-level delivery rhythm across teams.
• Provide clear updates to senior leadership and executives on status and risks.
• Mentor intermediate program managers and contribute to building a high-performing team
