Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a Senior Program Manager to drive delivery across our cybersecurity product portfolio. You will lead cross-functional programs spanning Engineering, Product, Threat Research, and Operations, ensuring alignment, dependency management, and on-time shipping to protect millions of users worldwide.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of program management experience in a software/product engineering organization.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and meaningful engagement with engineering on technical delivery.
• Experience working with multiple Agile teams at scale and coordination practices such as Scrum of Scrums.
• Excellent influencing and relationship-building skills across engineering, product, and leadership teams.
• Outstanding communication skills with ability to present complex information to all levels.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence; proficient with dashboards and program metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery across the full software development lifecycle for cloud and appliance-based product lines.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Product, Threat Research, Operations, and Customer Support.
• Coordinate multiple Agile teams with scaled practices and manage cross-team dependencies.
• Provide clear, strategic updates to senior leadership on program status, risks, and scope changes.
• Lead end-to-end delivery for multiple programs, balancing long-term goals with day-to-day execution.
• Mentor intermediate program managers and contribute to a high-performing team.
