Job summary

Proofpoint Engineering is seeking a Senior Program Manager to drive delivery across our cybersecurity product portfolio. You will lead cross-functional programs spanning Engineering, Product, Threat Research, and Operations to keep critical products on schedule and protect millions of users worldwide.

You will coordinate multiple Agile teams, manage dependencies, and provide clear updates to senior leadership while mentoring mid-level program managers and shaping a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• 7 years of program management experience in a software or product engineering organization.
• Solid understanding of software development processes and ability to engage with engineering teams on technical delivery.
• Experience with scaled Agile frameworks and cross-team coordination practices.
• Strong influencing and relationship-building skills across engineering, product, and leadership teams.
• Excellent communication skills to present complex information to diverse audiences.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence; proficient with dashboards and program metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own product delivery across the full software development lifecycle for cloud and appliance-based product lines.
• Drive alignment across Engineering, Product, Threat Research, Operations and Customer Support.
• Coordinate across multiple Agile teams and manage cross-team dependencies.
• Turn program complexity into clear, strategic updates for senior leadership.
• Lead end-to-end delivery for multiple programs, balancing long-term goals with day-to-day execution.
• Manage dependencies, surface blockers early, and drive timely decisions to keep programs on track.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and sponsors, providing visibility into status and risks.
• Evaluate scope changes and shifting priorities, communicating impact clearly.
