Job summary

Proofpoint Engineering is seeking a Senior Program Manager to drive delivery across our cybersecurity product portfolio. You will lead cross-functional programs spanning Engineering, Product, Threat Research, and Operations, ensuring alignment and timely shipping for millions of users worldwide.

You will coordinate multiple Agile teams, manage dependencies, surface blockers early, and provide strategic updates to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of program management experience in software or product engineering.
• Strong understanding of software delivery processes and engineering collaboration.
• Experience coordinating large programs across multiple Agile teams at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own program delivery across the full software development lifecycle for cloud and appliance products.
• Coordinate across Engineering, Product, Threat Research, Operations and Customer Support.
• Align sprints and manage cross-team dependencies in scaled Agile environments.
• Provide clear, strategic updates for senior leadership on progress and risks.
• Lead end-to-end delivery for multiple programs while balancing long-term goals with execution.
• Identify blockers, surface risks early, and drive timely decisions to keep programs on track.
• Mentor intermediate program managers and contribute to a high-performing team.
