Job summary

HireArt is hiring a Payroll Operations Administrator to own the intake and resolution of payroll tickets. This role improves speed, accuracy, and ownership by routing complex items to the right owner and resolving what can be resolved within established controls.

The position is largely internal-facing, reporting to the Payroll & Billing Operations Manager and working with the Payroll and Worker Experience teams. Hybrid, full-time, international contractor.

Qualifications

• C1/C2 English proficiency with strong written and verbal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort handling sensitive financial data.
• Ability to follow structured processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Own all incoming payroll tickets in Zendesk/Slack from intake to resolution.
• Triage tickets on arrival; investigate and resolve within scope; escalate when needed.
• Execute payroll corrections per SOPs and approval thresholds.
