Job summary

dLocal is seeking a People Operations Specialist to ensure payroll and employee services across multiple countries run smoothly. You will own monthly payroll inputs, coordinate with providers, and keep our processes compliant with local regulations.

You will handle employee queries through Jira, Slack, and email, prepare consolidated reports for Accounting, and support labor relations and offboarding in a dynamic, fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Payroll or People Operations, ideally multi-country.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and tax compliance.
• Proficient in labor laws and statutory reporting.
• Able to reconcile payroll data and audit provider outputs.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly payroll processes across multiple countries.
• Resolve employee queries via Jira, Slack, and email with quality service.
• Prepare consolidated payroll reports for Accounting and FP&A.
• Update labor documentation and country-specific contract clauses.
• Oversee social security and tax payments and SOPs for audit readiness.
• Coordinate regional labor relations and offboarding with legal teams.
