AT&T Global Public Sector is seeking a Network Support Technician to support ICE OCIO ITFO programs in Miramar, PR. The NST delivers Tier 2 IT support onsite and remotely, resolving hardware, software, network, and cloud issues while following established guidelines.

The role reports to an Area Technical Lead, supports 24x7 LANs, and requires a blend of independent work and supervision. Travel and law enforcement environment experience are considered in the hiring process.

Formación

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass the DHS E-Verify process.
• Associate Degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years IT-related support experience, preferably in a helpdesk or customer support role.
• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, network, or other IT issues.
• General knowledge of network products and systems.
• Experience in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel as required (local travel common).

Responsabilidades

• Provide LAN administrator support with installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices, servers, NAS, and tape backup units.
• Support networked devices: computers, printers, biometic devices, medical equipment, smart displays, sensors.
• Support mobile and wireless devices, including smartphones and tablets.
• Assist in testing, applying, and maintaining server configurations and security patches.
• Maintain system health and backups with restore testing.
• Monitor ServiceNow ticket queues and perform troubleshooting to resolve tickets.
• Update tickets per templates/guidelines to ensure quality.
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports.
• Provide inventory input for the customer inventory system.
• Install and maintain video teleconferencing infrastructure and user requests.
• Participate in after-hours on-call support and special projects.
• Assist in new equipment deployments and deployment support.
• Provide cabling support in data centers and wiring closets.
