Trinetix is seeking a skilled NOC Engineer to monitor and resolve incidents across IP and transmission platforms, including xWDM. You will collaborate with internal teams and external providers, document incidents, and drive incidents to resolution in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5+ years in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar environment.
• Strong technical expertise in network troubleshooting across IP and/or transmission platforms.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, QoS, xWDM technologies.
• CCNP Enterprise level knowledge (for IP-focused roles) or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools, incident handling, and fault management.
• Experience working with Linux/Windows environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams and external providers.
• Experience in documenting incidents and maintaining clear technical reporting.

Aufgaben

• Monitor the network across IP and transmission platforms (including xWDM).
• Act on alarms indicating service-impacting issues.
• Initiate and perform troubleshooting of faults and outages across relevant platforms.
• Resolve incidents at first line whenever possible, minimizing escalation.
• Take full ownership of incidents and drive them to resolution and restoration.
• Collaborate with third-party providers during troubleshooting.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation during and after incident resolution.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders during major incidents.
• Track SLA commitments and coordinate resolution across teams.
• Prepare root cause analyses and outage reports.
