EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks a Lead Scala/Java Developer to drive architecture, design, and development of highly scalable, secure software. You will collaborate to design, develop, and deploy technology solutions enabling key business capabilities in a fast-paced environment.

You will work across microservices, cloud platforms like AWS, and data stores such as Cassandra, DynamoDB, and PostgreSQL, while ensuring high availability, telemetry, and robust CI/CD automation.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software development.
• 3+ years in software engineering and design at high volume or large scale.
• 5+ years of Java/Scala/Kotlin development and REST API/backend services.
• 3+ years with large-scale distributed systems and multi-tier architectures.
• 2+ years developing and operating services in major cloud providers (AWS).
• Experience with Cassandra, DynamoDB, and PostgreSQL databases.
• CI/CD automation, monitoring, and alerting experience.
• Strong debugging and automation skills.
