Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team in Córdoba, Argentina. This hybrid role blends platform engineering and data infrastructure, owning the reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities using an AWS-first approach.

You will build and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling, enabling data engineers to ship high-quality data products safely.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or platform engineering with 2+ years in data engineering.
• Deep AWS core services knowledge (S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda).
• Proficiency with IaC tools Terraform or CDK and container technologies.

Mansioni

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure.
• Build and manage AWS-based cloud infrastructure and data resources.
• Own observability, metrics, logs, and alerts for data pipelines.
• Develop DataOps tooling and reusable pipeline templates.
• Lead incident response and mentor junior engineers.
