Job summary

Jan De Nul Group is seeking an Import Export Administrator in Buenos Aires to manage customs administration for the dredging project. You will work with the central logistics team, brokers, freight forwarders, banks, and authorities to ensure timely and compliant movement of vessels, equipment, and materials.

The role requires strong organization, Spanish and English proficiency, and experience with Argentine import/export procedures.

Qualifications

• Well-organised, accurate, and persistent with multi-file coordination.

Responsibilities

• Handle customs import/export administration for vessels, equipment and materials.
• Coordinate local freight and transport from arrival to site delivery.
• Set up and manage customs securities, bank guarantees, and insurances for temporary imports and re-exports.
• Maintain complete records of goods, services, and customs transactions.
• Prepare and check shipping and customs documents with brokers and forwarders.
• Apply central logistics policy at the local site and align with project needs.
• Stay updated on Argentine customs changes and impact on the project.
