Jan De Nul Group in Buenos Aires seeks a Technical Superintendent – Vessel Maintenance to oversee the technical condition and maintenance of vessels and equipment. You will coordinate maintenance and repair activities, review technical reports, and work with crews, project teams, suppliers and shipyards.

Based in Buenos Aires, you will join a rotation regime across Argentina with long days and six-day weeks, followed by time off; the role offers involvement in diverse dredging projects and

Formación

• Strong technical background combining engineering with coordination, planning and problem-solving.
• Fluent Spanish and good English for fleet and head office communication.
• Willingness to be based in Buenos Aires and travel across Argentina.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities for assigned vessels and equipment.
• Review technical reports, repair lists and resource requirements.
• Prepare and follow up on repair, reconstruction and renewal projects.
• Monitor spare-parts requirements and stock management.
• Support vessel mobilization and demobilization activities.
• Follow up on technical personnel on board vessels and at project sites.
• Prepare spare-parts lists for dry-docking and conversions.
• Coordinate technical specs and maintenance planning.
• Work with Procurement to ensure timely availability of materials and spare parts.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electromechanical preferred)
