Job summary

Jan De Nul Group in Argentina looks for an engineer to guide dredging projects through execution, keeping channels open and contributing to coastal protection works. You will work on board and on site (minimum 3 days/week) and coordinate with the project team to maintain production.

You will lead health, safety and environmental efforts, report progress and KPIs, and mentor local and expat crew to ensure smooth handovers and continued operations.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree in industrial sciences or a master’s in engineering sciences, or related master’s degree.
• The indispensable mindset of a solution seeker.

• Entitlement to live and work in Argentina on a permanent basis (DNI or permanent residency).

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and coordinate the daily dredging, survey and dumping operations; follow production and survey data and adjust strategy as needed.
• Lead health, safety and environment, conduct toolbox talks and inspections, and manage risk assessments with the QHSSE department.
• Report production daily and weekly, coordinate with all parties, and serve as the client/authorities contact; mentor crew and organise shifts.
