Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a diligent Reservations Agent for a busy hotel in Sandton. You will handle inquiries, input bookings in the PMS, and inform guests about rates and policies, ensuring a smooth reservation experience.

The role offers hybrid work between remote and on-site in Gauteng, training on hotel systems, and opportunities to upsell services, contributing to guest satisfaction from initial contact onward.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel reservations or customer service in hospitality.
• Proficient with PMS and reservation software.
• Excellent communication and telephone etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Handle reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online channels.
• Input and manage bookings and guest info in the PMS.
• Provide information on room types, rates, amenities, and policies.
• Assist guests with modifications or cancellations of reservations.
• Upsell hotel services and packages to enhance the guest booking experience.
• Coordinate with front desk and sales teams for efficient room allocation.
