Job summary

Chevron is seeking an Employee Relations Counselor to join our Buenos Aires team in a hybrid work setup, combining remote and in-office work. You will manage investigations, advise on performance and discipline, facilitate disputes, and collaborate with Legal, Global Security, IT Forensics, Labor Relations to ensure compliant actions.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in employee relations, fluent English (Portuguese preferred), strong attention to detail, and the ability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in employee relations or related HR discipline.
• Fluent English; Portuguese language skills preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to summarize facts for audiences.
• Ability to communicate with all levels and maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Co-Pilot.

Responsibilities

• Start-to-finish handling of investigative processes including intake, planning, interviews, data gathering and analysis, and report writing.
• Provide consultative services to business management on performance management, discipline, and corrective actions.
• Facilitate dispute and conflict resolution processes.
• Partner with Legal, Global Security, IT Forensics, Labor Relations, Compliance on work assignments.
• Represent Chevron to benchmark external ER matters and best practices.
• Attend unemployment claims appeal hearings as a Chevron representative.
• Lead or support special projects as assigned.
