Job summary

Novum Energy is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for its Argentina office. You will manage the employee lifecycle, partner with leadership on relations and performance, and lead recruitment and onboarding processes.

The role requires 5+ years in HR, strong knowledge of Argentine labor law, and bilingual English/Spanish communication. You will oversee payroll, benefits, and HR programs while ensuring compliance and confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary HR resource for the Argentina office, providing support across employee lifecycle activities and HR operations.
• Partner with business leaders and employees on employee relations, performance management, talent development, and workplace matters.
• Lead and support full‑cycle talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment, candidate selection, and onboarding.
• Manage and oversee payroll processing for the Argentina office, ensuring payroll is completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Administer employee benefit programs, serving as the primary point of contact for benefits enrollment, changes, employee inquiries, vendor coordination, and the ongoing communication of benefit offerings to employees.
• Ensure compliance with Argentine labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
• Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies, programs, and procedures that support business objectives.
• Manage employee lifecycle processes, including hiring, promotions, transfers, and separations.
• Prepare HR metrics, reports, and workforce data to support business and HR decision‑making.
• Plan and coordinate employee engagement, recognition, wellness, and company‑sponsored events.
• Support company foundation, volunteer, and community engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Global HR team to implement and support company‑wide HR initiatives and programs.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Sills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience, including expertise in Argentina labor law, employment compliance, and HR best practices; experience supporting organizations within the energy industry is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
• Strong business acumen, understanding the needs of the business to efficiently run the office and support the team.
• Ability to work independently and without supervision, ensuring deadlines are strictly adhered to.
• Energetic, responsive team player with the interest to take initiative and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must have excellent presentation and interpersonal skills to interface with all levels of management.
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams).
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to demonstrate problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours when needed.
