Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join the regional SAM team for LATAM and international regions. You will manage licensing across a large, multi-publisher portfolio, interpret terms, maintain records and support renewals and audits.

In this role, you will collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance and Engineering to drive compliance, optimization and cost efficiency while handling high-volume requests with accuracy and attention to detail, using English and Spanish daily.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM or ITAM with significant SAM responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of licensing models: node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS.
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across publishers.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization and/or audits.
• Ability to manage high volumes and prioritize time-sensitive requests.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when interpreting licensing information.
• Advanced English and Spanish language skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across publishers and licensing models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing information.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and software optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting to improve utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors to resolve licensing needs.
• Handle competing priorities in a high-volume environment while improving SAM processes.
