Job summary

TransPerfect is seeking an HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations across its subsidiaries, ensuring timely and accurate HR services. The role partners with managers on employee relations, investigations, visa coordination, performance processes, policy maintenance, compliance, training, and HR process improvement.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, 5–7 years HR experience, strong English communication, HRIS and MS Office proficiency, and the ability to handle confidential

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience including employee relations, performance management and lifecycle processes.
• 2–3 years as an HR Generalist partnering with employees and managers.
• Working knowledge of U.S. federal, state and local laws, and Puerto Rico employment laws.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with multiple priorities.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers to address employee relations and disciplinary actions.
• Conduct employment investigations and work with legal counsel when needed.
• Coordinate visa and immigration matters for employees.
• Manage performance management and organizational changes.
• Maintain up-to-date employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor and address changes in wage laws and paid sick leave.
• Develop and deliver trainings on leadership, policies, and compliance.
• Evaluate HR processes and implement scalable improvements.
• Foster a positive, inclusive work environment with confidentiality.
