Job summary

TransPerfect is hiring a Senior HR Generalist to support employee relations, performance management, and payroll compliance across the United States and Puerto Rico. You will partner with managers to resolve workplace issues, ensure policy adherence, and drive HR initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates will have 5–7 years of HR experience, a Bachelor’s degree, strong English communication, and knowledge of US/PR employment law.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations and performance management.
• 2–3 years of HR Generalist experience.
• Strong knowledge of US federal, state, local laws and Puerto Rico employment law.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers to address employee relations matters and counsel on disciplinary actions.
• Conduct employment-related investigations and coordinate with legal counsel as needed.
• Support visa and immigration processes for employees requiring sponsorship.
• Manage core lifecycle processes including performance management and organizational changes.
• Maintain and update employee handbooks, policies, and procedures for compliance.
• Deliver trainings on leadership, policies, and compliance topics.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and implement scalable workflows.
• Foster a positive, inclusive work environment and handle confidential information with integrity.
