Job summary

Syneos Health seeks an Associate Director, Business Operations (GCCM) to serve as a strategic partner to the GCCM leadership team. You will drive execution of the annual operating plan, governance, workforce planning, and strategic initiatives that enable GCCM to deliver against enterprise objectives across communications, marketing, and shared services.

The role requires 8+ years in business operations or related fields, and a proven ability to translate priorities into clear operating plans,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
8+ years in business operations, strategy, consulting, program management, or chief of staff.
Experience translating strategic priorities into operating plans and governance routines.
Strong analysis, financial acumen, and ability to drive accountability.
Ability to influence without direct authority across cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the function's annual operating plan and strategic priorities.
Create governance processes, leadership rhythms, and formal reviews.
Build scalable business practices, workflows, and decision rights.
Maintain executive dashboards, scorecards, and senior leadership materials.
Drive cross-functional transformation, including operating model evolution.
Establish intake, prioritization, escalation, and portfolio management processes.
