Job summary

Technical Project Manager - Data Center (Remote) is required to own client technical relationships across the project lifecycle, including onboarding, scoping, and reviews. You will translate client requirements into actionable tickets and manage the full ticket lifecycle in ITSM platforms such as Jira and ServiceNow.

You will oversee datacenter hardware deployment, cabling, power, and cooling, while coordinating with vendors to meet timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

Hands-on familiarity with ITSM tooling including Jira and ServiceNow.
Experience working with Zendesk or similar support platforms.
Ability to translate client needs into actionable tickets and plans.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary technical point of contact for client accounts through the project lifecycle.
Lead onboarding, scoping calls, and technical review meetings with clients.
Translate requirements into actionable work orders and internal tickets.
Manage SLA commitments and provide delivery status updates with direct escalations.
Oversee on-site and remote hardware deployment, cabling, power & cooling tasks.
Maintain a live project dashboard for clients and stakeholders.
Coordinate with vendors on procurement, lead times, and RMAs.
Develop SOPs and runbooks to standardize repeatable processes.
Guide junior technicians and contractors on-site.
