Job summary

Oracle seeks a skilled Data Center Operations professional to optimize server components, validate cabling, and mentor technicians. Responsibilities include overseeing break/fix activities, network configuration, and strict adherence to SOPs/MOPs while ensuring high availability and compliance in data center environments.

Qualifications

• Experience identifying opportunities to replace or upgrade server components.
• Ability to mentor technicians and implement hardware changes without affecting critical infrastructure.
• Familiarity with SOPs/MOPs and Data Center Change Control processes.
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve resiliency issues.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for others to work with servers and main hardware to ensure lifecycle performance.
• Guide and coach technicians on power distribution units and replacement hardware.
• Instruct on network configurations and client sign-offs within environments.
• Monitor tickets, assign work, and document resolutions to SLAs.
• Ensure safety, security, and site compliance during on-site tasks.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and escalating appropriately.
