Job summary

Oracle is seeking a data center operations professional to identify opportunities to optimize server components and network configurations. You will mentor technicians, validate cabling and connectivity, and ensure adherence to SOPs/MOPs within data center change control processes.

The role includes coordinating with technical and non-technical teams to mitigate resiliency risks and maintain high availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in data center operations and hardware maintenance.
• Ability to guide and coach technicians on best practices for server components and network setups.
• Strong understanding of SOPs/MOPs and change control processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for team members to engage with servers and main hardware to ensure lifecycle efficiency.
• Coach technicians on best practices for power distribution units and replacement hardware.
• Instruct on implementing defined network communications and client configurations in environments.
• Monitor and assign work in ticketing systems; mentor technicians and implement technical solutions within SLAs.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs/MOPs and safety guidelines during on-site tasks at client locations or data centers.
• Lead collaboration with project teams and vendors to test, validate, and coordinate installations and performance.
