Perform day-to-day HR business activities and partner with business function counterparts on initiatives aligned with GM’s objectives, mission, and culture
Partner with directors, executives, and business leaders to define talent identification and management strategies
Improve working relationships, build engagement, increase output, and attract and retain talent
Provide direction on restructures, transformation efforts, job design, workforce planning, and organizational planning
Create a high-touch HR experience by supporting employees with questions, concerns, and engagement
Communicate HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations and provide guidance
Support talent and performance management, including coaching, consulting, corrective actions, and crisis relations
Support expatriate assignments and related HR matters
Partner with Business HR on talent management, development, compensation, and calibration cycles
Support complex employee relations issues and investigations with the Policy & Investigation COE
Support onboarding and conduct exit interviews
Analyze attrition data and develop corrective-action and continuous-improvement recommendations
Facilitate or provide workforce training
Consult on employee compensation and pay-for-performance and recognition programs
Identify continuous-improvement opportunities and provide field perspective to influence HR processes and procedures
Demonstrates expertise in Human Resources management, including talent identification, employee relations, and organizational planning. Proficient in legal compliance, performance management, and continuous improvement strategies to enhance workforce engagement and effectiveness.
